100% Quality Cotton Bra - finally!

Non Toxic Material is hard to find for bras. This is one of the only bras I've found so far that is non toxic and is made up entirely of organic cotton. Price was not bad either. IT's NOT AS SOFT AS I THOUGHT it to be BUT IT'S STILL COMFORTABLE! Wish I could find it in black! It's not extremely feminine looking as far as frill - very basic and you can see the seams over the cup of the bra. They do not bother me but it may some. Overall I am pleased with this product - especially about the confidence it gives me that I am wearing material that was not engineered with harmful chemicals that could be absorbed through my skin.

My infant has a yeast infection in his mouth and it gets passed from his mouth to my nipples and back and forth. My doctor recommended me getting %100 percent cotton bras and washing them often in hot water to kill the yeast off of my bras. This one works well for this. Like I said there are not many quality 100% cotton bras out there so glad to find this one.

The GOOD: In general, I was impressed with the support and adjustable nature of this bra. Even without an underwire, it held up my chest admirably. The straps are widely adjustable and the band adjusts very well too. The nursing snap and drop-down feature is really nice. Even though this bra is 100% organic cotton, there is adequate stretch in the material for comfort and for fluctuations in nursing breast sizes.

Why I RETURNED it: My assessment of fit and 3 stars should be taken with a grain of salt. I am between a 36H and 36I mid-pregnancy, which are sizes that this bra does not claim to fit. I have to experiment with sizes when shopping for ORGANIC nursing bras, because I have not yet found an organic nursing bra intended for my size. The 40E fit fine in the band (but I could have worn a 38 too I think). The cup was a little too big with bunching fabric. I could see needing this size after my milk comes in after birth, but at my current size it doesn't work. Next to try: the 38E and the 40D. NOTE: As other reviewers note, there is an obvious seam along the center of the breast that can be seen through most clothing. If I can find my proper size, I will gladly endure this shortcoming considering this bra is 100% organic cotton, has great nursing access, AND has phenomenal support!

The cotton is very soft, and I have had no trouble with pilling so far. The fit is as expected, and I really like that it is not quite as full coverage as my Leading Lady nursing bra. I am normally an A cup, and more like a B when pregnant/nursing, so too much coverage just looks bulky and obvious on me.

I have seen a few complaints about the seam, which is fairly large, and would like to say it's really only visible with thin material or very super tight shirts. I have not had an issue with concealing nipples, but I can see how that may be a problem without a breast pad. I prefer the washable pads under this, as they give a smoother look. Disposable pads tend to be a bit large for me and so they bunch up a bit.
